LSU Workshop Project

Moving forward with the Fort Caroline Middle School SC07-09 Action Plan I used this time to create curriculum mapping and resources for the Fort Caroline Middle School Virtual Lab that will be in use during the 2008-2009 school year. In the lab students will learn and experience how to use data to create models and simulations based on their current science unit. The first quarter science unit is lab safety, matter, heat transfer, weather and hurricanes. I want to use Google Earth and Sky and content related data sets to teach students to use Google Earth to model data and create mash-ups . The Virtual Lab Wiki will be used for content, resources, and student logs. The IB Technology Design Plan will shape the lab curriculum.
