Creating an RT ticket from the web interface
- Login to RT.
- In the drop-down menu at the top, select EdProg, and click on New Ticket.
- Put in a subject and message, and click on Create Ticket.
Creating an RT ticket via email
- Send an email to edprog-rt@cs.earlham.edu with a subject and message body for the ticket. Example:
- Subject: PXE booting is not working
- Body: Client nodes fail to PXE boot with this error message: ...
- You should receive a confirmation email with a ticket number.
- When corresponding with an RT ticket via email, keep the subject intact to have it be routed to the right ticket.
