mpich2 for now, look at support for multiple ones later.
gnu for now, look at support for adding Intel tool chain later.
defer community and island mode for now.
as we move things into the "current" queue make tickets for them in trac.
down the road we'll want to support our own repository, svn (with binaries), apt?; more discussion is needed here

Things to do (mostly ordered):

trac users htaccess and URL on wiki (charlie)
add list of packages under "Yes" in Atlanta notes (skylar)
hardware based testing, live CD (alex and kevin)
hardware based testing, liberation (alex and kevin)
recruit people to do broader testing, mostly live CD (all)
liberation and formatting/partitioning drives (skylar), tom will experiment with USB drive
document testing framework, live CD and liberated
login with ldap and multiple servers, aka island mode and community mode (alex)
